St. George Regional Airport (SGU)

What airport is closest to Zion National Park? St. George Regional Airport is the nearest airport.  Zion National Park has two main sections.  Springdale lies just outside the parkโ€™s South Entrance and is the most common place to stay for the parkโ€™s main Zion Canyon section.  Thereโ€™s no airport available in this area – the closest airport to Springdale is St George Airport.  

Flying here requires you to have extra planning since this airport has limited commercial flights. Taking connecting flights from Salt Lake City is a frequent option here. You also need to consider if youโ€™re planning to use the same airport when you leave Zion National Park.
