Canyonlands Field is a small domestic airport located in the northwest part of Moab, providing aviation services to the town and other Southeastern areas of Utah. It’s technically the Arches National Park closest airport with commercial flights.
There are other attractions close to the airport that you can also visit while you’re in the area like Canyonlands National Park, the Colorado River, Dead Horse Point State Park, and Manti-La Sal National Forest. You can also try the helicopter, scenic, and charter services offered at this airport.

You can also get a rental car and drive to the park, especially if you’re planning to drop by some city attractions along the way like Boulder, Aspen, and Glenwood Springs and take in the beauty of Colorado and Utah along the way. The most common route is taking I-70 west, then getting to Exit 182 on US-191 south towards Moab. From there, you’re on to the last stretch to the park.
