On paper, Grand Teton National Park sounds like it should be universally adored.
And yet.
Scroll far enough on Yelp or TripAdvisor and youโll discover a small but determined group of visitors who left the Tetons unimpressed โ and felt strongly enough about it to leave a one-star review behind.
This post is a compilation of those reactions.
I went looking for Grand Tetonโs lowest reviews and gathered the ones that were most memorable, dramatic, and unintentionally entertaining.
Think of this as a different kind of park tour.
One that runs through opinions instead of overlooks.
If you love national parks, this will probably make you laugh.
If youโre planning a visit to Grand Teton, it might make you plan more intentionally.
And if youโve ever wondered how a place this iconic can still earn a one-star rating โ keep reading.
Hilarious Bad Grand Teton National Park Reviews

Unless you are an active traveler, there is nothing special about this national parkย
TripAdvisor
Nope, thereโs nothing special about this view at all ๐ญ

Not so grand ! Some nice scenery but nothing that we thought was a Wow factor?!ย
TripAdvisor
Maybe they didnโt hike into Cascade Canyon (?) Read the trail details.

A lot of the trails were falling apart, full of litter, and swarming with mosquitos. The mountains look nice, but Yellowstone is way better and itโs right next to it.ย
Yelp

$30 to get inโฆ.Are you kidding me!ย .. What? Is the road paved with gold or something to make it that expensive. The visitors center is very cool but thatโs as far as Iโll go.ย
Yelp

It lacks most of Yellowstoneโs charm. It has very few animals compared to YNPโ we only saw mule deer. It has no thermal features or geysers. And, except the view of the three Teton peaks, it has no alluring vistas.ย
TripAdvisor
Nope, not one single nice view. Well .. you can find some nice views in my guide to The Best Views in Grand Teton National Park. Thereโs much more information about the park in my:
