What Airport is Closest to Sequoia National Park?
Fresno Yosemite International (FAT)
Although Visalia Municipal Airport is technically closer, it only has charter flights, so is of limited use to most travelers.
Fresno Yosemite Airport is the closest commercial airport to California’s Sequoia National Park. There are daily flights on several major domestic airlines (Alaska Airlines, Allegiant, American Airlines, Delta, Southwest, and United) as well as several cities in Mexico via AeroMexico and Volaris. You can choose budget flights and get miles on your preferred airlines at Fresno Yosemite.
It’s just a short drive to either of the entrances. The Big Stump north entrance is just one hour from here while the southern Ash Mountain Entrance is around an hour and a half drive. It’s also convenient if you’re also seeing other national parks like Yosemite and King Canyon.
